Who really is John Chow?
Well, I know he is a successful businessman and “dotcom” entrepreneur from Canada.
It seems that he rose to the top with the “TechZone”. But I have never checked that site, so…
I’m however an avid fan of his blog site “JohnChow.com”.
The truth is it is the only semi personal blogs that I visited regularly. Usually, I simply read various niche-blogs on personal blogging and growth.
John Chow´s blog is all about the blogging and Internet – often with ideas on the business things – combined with pictures of and odd ramblings about, things he eats.
While checking Chow´s blog for several months, I have learned a few things. Here are 5 of those useful lessons. Some are good reminders and some are new. Most of the principles used not only in blogging but also to a lot of areas of life.

Be consistent – I am becoming a firm believer that one of the greatest keys to success is by being consistent. John Chow posts very often and with great occurrence. The blog shows a couple of short posts almost 24/7.
Being that regular is maybe one of the biggest factors to his blog rising so quickly. Each time you go there, there is always new and seven out of ten something – fascinating to read.
Be proactive – John Chow´s networking abilities appear to be more creative and energetic than that of an average blogger. He rapidly expanded his blog community by making a competition for everyone. Today, his blog has 714 members.
He has as well expanded his part of the network “Agloco” to a remarkable six thousand members by blogging and networking about it. And he made the clever Adsense advertisements that said things like “I love Darren Rowse” or “I love Steve Pavlina” or and put those advertisements on their blog sites.
Keep optimizing – He always writes about new plug-ins for WordPress or about new products for bloggers. But he does not simply blog about it but try things out and, eventually, reports back. He appears to be continually experimenting on maximizing his business and blog.
Mix it, lighten up and have fun – One of the great factors that often keep me going back to John Chow´s blog is that he blogs very well and, perhaps even more significantly, maintains a light mood in all his blog posts. I love how he controls to share a bit regarding his dining out–knowledge and other personal things occasionally and not make it boring.
Give. In time you shall get – In several short months John Chow has gone from earning zero bucks on his blog site to earning a few thousand bucks monthly. Not bad. And even if he is the “self-proclaimed root of all evil” John appears to be a great guy.
He gives all his earnings in blogs to charities and his church. I think John´s giving and sharing attitude is a huge factor of his blogging success.
